Preserving Boating History

1935 Grebe "Naida"

Designed and built by the Henry C. Grebe boatyard “Naida” is a classic example of a 1930s era cruising yacht.  She was moved to the west coast after being built where she was moored until 2018.  In January 2018 we purchased “Naida” and had her shipped back to her hometown of Chicago.

1957 Chris-Craft "Virginia"

Virginia started her life a a kit boat, originally sold in 1957.  He original owners paired her with a 35HP Electric Start Johnson Javelin outboard, which still powers her today.

When we bought Virginia her deck, cockpit sole, and seating was completely rotted away.  We started by stripping all the rotted wood, removing the years of topside paint, and refinishing the bottom.

We estimate that she will be completed sometime before June 2018
